14 side hustle ideas (with steps on how to do them)

There are many profitable side hustles out there. It all depends on your time input and effort.

And I assume you want to make money indefinitely, not just for a month or a year.

That said, you can either :

1. Find a remote job on platforms like :

pretty self explanatory, no? you can get a job in customer service, admin, digital marketing etc via companies that hire remotely, or you can signup to platforms like fiverr/upwork and offer your services. either way, you are making money online

2. Build something online

this is my preferred method.

because i am building a brand, an asset.

something that can bring me money today, tomorrow and the many years to come. i can also sell it for a 5/6/7 figure sum down the line if i want to.

so i’m going to give you some ideas for the 2nd point :

1. print on demand : start an etsy store, create designs on canva, then fulfil the orders using printify

2. reselling stuff : buy cheap stuff from flea markets/garage sales and resell them on ebay/fb marketplace

3. rent out your assets : rent out your car/home etc. on platforms like turo, airbnb

4. sell leads/middleman : run lead gen ads on fb to get leads for a local business (e.g plumbing, cleaning, car insurance) and sell it to businesses. or advertise those services, and outsource it to those companies and take a cut of the sales. i did this as my first side hustle

5. dropshipping (not recommended)

6. e-commerce (recommended) : create or improve on an existing product, then sell it on your website via shopify. use sites like alibaba to find suppliers

7. youtube + AI : make videos using AI, and upload them onto youtube for recurring adsense revenue :

   • Tube Magic: AI tool for niche selection, script generation, and video optimization.

   • Stock footage: Storyblocks provides high-quality, royalty-free clips essential for content.

   • Voiceovers: AI-generated voices from 11 Labs for realistic narrations.

8. ebooks : this can be scammy if you are just using AI to write the books and selling them without having knowledge on the topic. but if you have a talent or skill, you can create an ebook in canva easily and sell it on etsy, or create a website using convertkit and run ads to it to get people to buy

9. online courses : similar to ebooks. sell your knowledge to the world. use kajabi/teachable to build a website, record your course and promote it using paid ads (fb/ig/x/tiktok etc.)

10. newsletter : provide free content, then charge advertisers for ad space once your audience is big enough

11. online tutoring/consulting : teach others online in exchange for money (tutor.com/skooli)

12. day trading/crypto trading : can be feasible if you know what you’re doing

13. domain flipping : buying and selling web domain names. requires skills to know which domains are valuable

14. affiliate marketing : works if you have a big audience. basically sell someone else’s products and get a commission.

there ya go. the bottom line is, if you wanna make money online - you have to put in the work. and more often than not, it requires some money (AI subscriptions/software etc.) to start
